ed school - as though finally - and a welcome change from the tension of HSFY! It has been truly enlightening and fun, but 2003 was, at the same time, more than just being part of a "descendant generation of med students, that will soon become senior to the future batches" (17 Feb).

2003 has been a year hugely revolving around people. Quite a fully-faceted experience it was, from surreal to wearying. Having my family around in NZ for the second half of the year was special and much enjoyed, too.

Altogether, it has been totally random and unpredictable - so much that at times I almost felt surfeited! But perhaps that is what makes 2003 distinctive. Been through lots, learned lots.
